I will never forget this time, he drove all the way from Tennessee to stay with me after having a partial hysterectomy. It was before cell phones and GPS and he got lost for quite a while, but he made it and he stayed with me until I was ok. I reminded him how special he was during his illness and told him how much his love meant to me. Sometimes a child doesn't realize that you appreciate them as much as you do. I miss him so much!
